established january 2010 by danielle whigham and whitney stichka.
vita nuova, which means “new life” in italian, symbolizes a new beginning in our friendship. we went our separate ways after high school, but followed a similar path, both pursuing our interests in photography. upon graduation from college, we were reunited in des moines and formed vita nuova.
our focus is capturing new stages of life and the beauty that comes from a new beginning.

At just a little over a week old Levi had his first photoshoot. He was such a good model. I guess it helped that he was in a "food coma". What a sweet little boy - making me very excited for my own baby pics! -Danielle
